WALT  Identify ways to keep our chrome books safe

WALT Identify ways to keep our Chromebooks safe.

This morning for cyber smart we looked at ways to keep our chrome books safe. We then created a poster showing some of the points. Here is my poster.

  1. I like how you have so many different ways to keep your chrome book safe. Perhaps if you had the arrows all pointing outwards it would look better. I use the terms ' Hug and Hold' a lot and am glad that you included it.

  4. Kia ora Zahrah,

It is great to see that you and your classmates have been talking about the importance of staying safe online and of being 'Cybersmart.' I actually work on a programme called the Summer Learning Journey where we work with students over the summer to keep their learning going. As part of the Summer Learning Journey we have to also be cybersmart and ensure that we take care of our devices properly. It is really important to put it away in a safe place and make sure that it doesn't get wet, isn't it?

If you are able to take your device home this summer, please consider joining our Summer Learning Journey programme. We would love to blog with you! The programme this year is all about the world around us. We have 60 different activities available for you to choose from. You can do any of the activities in any order that you want to and our team will read your work and provide comments. We will also provide points and, at the end of the summer, Emma will come back to Hornby Primary to bring certificates for everyone who blogs with us and prizes for the top bloggers.

I really hope that you will join us on the journey this summer!

    Cheers,
    Rachel

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Helpful- A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
