Activity 1: Leading the Charge

Hey bloggers, today I'm going to be doing Summer Learning Journey. There were lots to choose from but I chose Helen Clark, this activity was about being a principal for one week. It said to make five changes that it would be like.

Five changes about things that would be changed:

1. The Teachers could be checking the children's lunchboxes everyday to see if they have enough food so they could be eating.

2. If the childrens don't behave, the teachers could be giving each children three or five chances for them so they could behave.

3. I could make sure that every children will understand or
is listening to what we are learning.

4. I could let the teacher know if you really need to take an fresh air
outside.

5. You could let the teacher when you are sick and if
you need to go to the office.

MEGA AIR FUN!

Hey everyone, today I wanted to share something really fun and awesome. Yesterday on Thursday, I went to Mega Air and it was so much fun! Only yr 6, 7 and 8!

 First we were at school, got on the bus and then at our YMS performance. We were going to the working mens club, nobody was there but expect peoples from YMS parents and our whole school.
After we went to Mega Air, I was so excited and I couldn't wait!

Work it writing 2

Hi bloggers, the other day I went to write the one of a vet.
Do you like vets?
Do you want to be a vet when you grow up?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Here is the writing!

I was just getting out of my bed, getting dressed and started to eat my breakfast.
I got out of my house,
went to my car and drove to the vets.
Soon I got there, parking my car at the carpark and locking my car. I went to the vets,
I went to my room and I wait for an animal to be here. 

Later, one of the animals came with his owner and I called out the pets name with his owner.
There was a dog, and a woman and when they came, I told the woman to sit down
on the chair. The woman grabbed his dog, put him in the big long pet thing and sat.
I gave him a checkup, I told the woman what is wrong with the dog and she said that
he has been laying down for the whole day. 

I gave him a checkup again, I said that your dog is really sick and tired and the
woman said that he had been outside in the rain. I said you should have took care
of him. I didn’t see him, he always sneaks to go and he always when I am gone,
he goes and runs.

Hi bloggers, I'm back! 

Today I was writing about a teacher, the yr 7/8's went to Wellington camp but some didn't go and we did this slide that is about learning and it is called work it workbook. 

Here is my Writing about a Teacher!

When I woke up, I went to get ready so I could go to the police officer’s place. I had my police car with me, I drove to the carpark and went inside my office. I want to say hi to the other policies, went inside my office and sat at my table. 

Soon, an alarm went on and all the policies went to get the person that was driving this car. At the top of the car, the blue and the red was flashing and was making eeh aah eeh noise.  So lots of people know what was going on, we went a bit faster so we could that car it was going so fast that it might have crashed . 

We started going fast too, so we could catch him since he was to far ahead and we would never catch and the other cars might crash. We are policies not bad people, so we decided to go different directions so that way two or maybe three of us could get him. 

Three of us went to the front, four of us went to the side, and the others went to the other side so we might of got him. We worked as a team to get him together, when we worked together we got him and gave him a ticket. We told him that you need to have a driving licence or if you do then you should have it with you and he said I am sorry I just was really getting late for my work and if I didn’t I would of been going to get out of that place. 

One of us told the man that why didn’t you stop then, you could of told us before you did that and you know it is already late know and he had been taught a new lesson.

Super Lunch Visitor!

Hi bloggers, today at lunch time, there was a lunch visitor.... A PUPPY! Her name is Daisy, some people were lucky because they get to pat the puppy and the is sometimes around. We are the only class the is near the puppy's house, she goes through the bars and you guessed it she is a girl. You can tell because of her name and that is a she and she always comes around that way she also comes when we are working. The owner always has to call the puppy to come sometimes she does go back or sometimes she tries to come in the classroom.

Hooked on Books Week!

Hi everyone, today I'm going to show you what week it is... HOOKED ON BOOKS WEEK! Each day we find a box and we have no idea what it is in the first place, but there was.... paper? But my teacher, Mrs Taylor, pulled out a stick because my classes names were on them and the first person for today was Laura to open the box. There was a book in there, it was called the list and there was a girl that named Letter. The second book was the next day we opened, Mrs Taylor pulled a stick out... it was Renae! The book was called, The boy who flew. The next box, this time somebody else opened it but this time since Toby found it so Toby get to open it and the book was called Charlie and the War against grannies.

Food Review ( Home Learning )

Hi bloggers, I'm going to show you my home learning blog that I did. My home learning blog is based on cooking things/stuff. Since I liked sketching things, I decided to sketch something like food or fruit. I like lots of different food so I chose to do fruit because the only thing I was thinking about was strawberries and it was perfect because I like strawberries.

A&P SHOW!

Hi bloggers, on Thursday our class went to a trip to A&P show. It was so much fun! There were lots of cars and lots of parents waiting, we were meeting at our school in our class. In the car, I went with Bridget, Nikita, Hana and Briar and Jo was driving the car. It was perfect because Jo's car actually had a little TV for the back and we were watching a movie. The movie was something about this boy and that had lost his parents, somebody took him home and took care of him. 

Finally we got of, this time I was grouped with Bella and Michaela and the adult was Bella's Mum. First we went and saw the horse's, it was big and I have never ever have went near a horse before. Next we went to watch the dog show, I think there was four of them and they did a few tricks. We also went to other places, soon we were tired so we went to the horse show. We went to the Algrego show is well, when we were watching we saw Bella's cousin, Emma! It took a really long time, thank you to Bella's Mum because she got three or four hot chips.

YMS Trip to town!

Hey guys, on Wednesday YMS went to town. It was really fun, we went to the bus but some people from our class couldn't fit. It was perfect because there were four buses so some of the people from our class that couldn't fit, went to go to the next bus. We went out of the bus and there was lots of people from other schools that came. We went to the Christchurch Town Hall,  it was amazing when we went to sit on the chairs. The people that was at choir went there before so they knew the whole place. Here are the photos!

FUTURE HOUSE!

Hi everyone, today I'm going to show you my home blog. It is about designing your own future house, if you want to know what is a future house and I could tell you what it is. A future house is a house that is full of music because house means something that you know, we know that house means that you are living in it. But what is future supposed to mean? I could tell you if you don't know but if you do then it is great. Future means music to me but if I'm am wrong then you could tell me what it is.

SPY FOX WRITING!

Hi bloggers, today I'm going to show you my writing of spy fox. This writing is about a fox that is always here to save the world, and there are penguins that get lasered by a hammerhead shark. He has a big place that looks like his office, and is full of guards and they are fish and there are fishes all over the whole place. Here is my writing and here is one of the spy fox photo!

There were penguins everywhere in the snow, there was a baby that was scared to go but his mum and dad said to go. The little baby didn’t want to go, but mum and dad believed him that here when he closed his eyes… he did it! Sadly, all the penguins in that world was lasered by the hammerhead shark.   The spy fox was relaxing at his house, beep beep and he had to save the day. It was his job to save the world, it was amazing because he had a flying car that could actually fly! He saw that it was hammerhead shark causing all this trouble. When he got his telescope, there were lots of fish guards everywhere around the big place. But the spy fox had an idea, he got his rope and when one of the fish guards saw the rope he looked at it and the spy fox choked the fish guard. He went through the vent, he pressed the red button, and saved his friend. The hammerhead shark went to the elevator, and all the fish guards squashed up but one of the fish guards didn’t managed to get in there. The spy fox and his friend went in the flying car. The place of the hammerhead shark exploded, the fox’s friend gave him a glass of punch. But neither job came again for the spy fox to do but the spy fox’s friend got angry this time to even care about his job. He canceled it!

Awesome Athletics!

Hi everyone, today I am going to show you what I did, ATHLETICS! It was fun but also I was tired, it was a hot sunny day. I wanted to drink water but luckily I had brought my water bottle. For two weeks Rimu did some practising, and yr 6's were starting with shot put. Some people was going to go to zones. For the Yr 5's, Alvin, for the Yr 6's, Corbin and Thom, Yr 7's, Nikita and Grace, Yr 8's, Jedi and Parwin and Julia and Mika. But I am not sure about the others.

After that, we did spirits for Rimu class, the people that wanted to do it could. It was fun watching them race, I didn't want to run but I just cheered on. Then we played a little game, we were in our house colours. Hillary and Edger, Ormsby and Rutherford.
